Mr. Brent Sorrells joined OncoNano Medicine as Chief Operating Officer in November 2025. Most recently Brent served as Vice President of Product Development and Strategy at Allakos, Inc, until it was acquired by Concentra Biosciences in May 2025. During his time at Allakos he has held various leadership roles in Clinical Operations. Prior to Allakos, Brent held senior roles within the clinical team at ZS Pharma. In 2015, ZS Pharma was acquired by AstraZeneca, where he stayed on to support the continued clinical development and commercial launch of Lokelma. In addition, he has worked for and served as board chairman of a nonprofit business incubator for tech startups. Throughout his career, he has helped build entrepreneurial communities, mentor local entrepreneurs, and fund new ventures. Brent is an alum of the University of North Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Business Administration.
